How do you survive the age of disruption? Do you just hope it doesn’t happen to you? Or do you just believe that if and when a disruptive event threatens you, you will be able to respond well? In fact, both these answers are wrong. You need a robust plan to survive in the age of disruption. In fact, my first book “The dark side of innovation was all about how to survive a disruptive threat”
I have been speaking on disruption for years. And my message is very simple: build a tsunami alert system much before the Tsunami hits your industry. If you fail to do that, you are risking your business in a major way. Companies do not have the time to respond to threats after a disruptive threat becomes clear. I spoke at length in my Podcast season 1 on how to deal with disruptive events. I also gave a brief introduction on the subject of disruption in m latest book “A Sixty-Minute Guide to Disruption.”
After I finished a program on managing disruption recently, someone in the program pulled out a video from youtube that I had done a few years back. This video gives an introduction to my program on managing disruption. In just ten minutes, you can learn what is the dark side of innovation and how do you manage such disruptive events.
