We are giving free access to our online strategy program – Becoming A Strategist – A Primer – for the duration of this lockdown.
Upon returning home from Europe in Mid March after conducting my executive MBA program, I got busy adapting to the unprecedented situation we have all been facing. I am sure you were in the same boat.
I got back to the US just before the travel ban to the EU nations started. Vacant airports and empty planes on my way back, palpable fear in all I met, and a fast shutting down world is all I witnessed. It was my fastest exit from the airport; from the minute the plane landed in Newark airport to the time I was out of the terminal building, it took me less than 20 minutes.
Upon returning, my first order of the day was to make sure I did not get the infection during my travel; I stayed indoors though the lockdowns had not begun. Thankfully, I was fine.
As I see medical professionals and essential service providers risking their lives to help others, I have been nothing but inspired by them all. I also wanted to do my part. After some thinking, I realize that the best I can do in this situation is to follow the official guidelines and use my skills to help the world in any way I can.
Why Offer It Free?
Because of the lockdowns, I cannot be in the classrooms and conference rooms to conduct my regular programs. But I can take my online programs to more people who are staying at home and help them get better equipped to continue to succeed in their careers.
I think we can all do this at least: Use our talents and skills to help others in any way possible. In addition, this crisis also gives us all an opportunity to upgrade our own skills. As Warren Buffett says, the best investment you can make is in yourself.
At my end, I am using this time to do a lot more research and writing until the lockdown abates and life gets back to normal. I hope you are doing the same: using this forced time indoors to upgrade your own skills.
How to Access Free Strategy Programs?
You can access all the open enrollment programs on the strategy academy site. If you signed up on the Strategy Academy site earlier, you will find free access to Becoming A Strategist – Primer for free. You will still need to add the program to your account by enrolling for it.
If you have access to the Strategy Academy site for your custom corporate programs, your existing login will work for you. You can add the program for free to your account and go through it at your own pace.
